Company History

Elinc Corporation was founded in 1999 with the goal of creating medically oriented software for veterinarians.  This was a unique focus in a crowded marketplace full of cash register-centric systems which had little emphasis on medical records.  After three years of development VIA was released in 2002. 

Our rapid success in the industry led to our acquisition in 2005 by Eklin Medical Systems.  In 2009 Eklin and VIA were acquired by VCA ANTECH (NASD: WOOF) and became part of Sound-Eklin, the industry leader in radiology, informatics, ultrasound, and veterinary technology products.
