VIA™ Version 6.0 Released
Frisco, TX, May 10, 2010 - VIA Information Systems is pleased to announce the immediate availability of VIA™ Version 6.0 for its customers. The software release contains new practice management features, Microsoft platform support, and vendor integrations.
VIA 6.0 includes ANTECH laboratory barcode forms, webservice ordering, and automatic data import from Zoasis. Other vendor integrations include Phoenix Reference Laboratories, DICOM digital imaging vendor support, integration with Sound-Eklin modalities, and more.
The release also adds compability with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as well as 64-bit and 32-bit Windows operating systems.
Practice management enhancements include Resource Schedulers to track staff availability and appointments, Referral Doctor tracking, SOAP medical note Discharge Instructions, and expanded Data Mining capabilities. The Hospitalization module has been enhanced with a Task View in the Patient Medical History, Task Series scheduling, and provider shift change features. The full screen Whiteboard Display updates each second to provide a real-time status view of patient activity that is optimized for a large wall mounted display. The graphical Treatment Flowsheet includes performance and editing enhancements to capture billing as treatments are completed in an easy to view time-based user interface.
