VIA™ Selected as Medical Software Provider for the World Equestrian Games
Lexington, KY, Sep 25, 2010 - VIA Information Systems, the technology leader in veterinary practice management software, is the medical software chosen for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
VIA™ practice management software will be used in the World Equestrian Games Veterinary Clinic to provide electronic medical records, invoicing, and integration with digital imaging modalities. Over 800 horses and riders and 250 veterinarians will represent 57 countries at the 2010 Games.
The World Equestrian Games are comprised of the world championships for eight equestrian sports. The Games are held every four years, two years prior to the Olympic Games. 2010 is the first year the Games are being hosted outside of Europe.
