Split billing can be generated by assigning an unlimited number of owners to a patient. All ownership changes are tracked over time and ownership history can be accessed to ensure accurate billing. As you process transactions, charges are appropriately calculated and split among multiple owners.

Assign Trainers
Each horse entered in VIA can be associated with a trainer. The trainer contact list stores important address and phone information. You can identify and search for a particular horse by trainer and view historical changes in trainer assignments.

Statement Charges
The Statement Charge is well suited for rapidly entering charges in Day Sheet fashion whether you are in the hospital or on the road. Search by horse, trainer, owner, phone, or microchip to quickly access the patient's monthly charges. Enter charges in a tabular view showing horse, item, doctor, date performed, quantity, price, and amount. Charges can be easily re-assigned to other owners in case of change in billing such as with a pre-purchase exam. If ownership changes occur, charges are accurately assigned to the proper owner based on charge date vs. ownership change date.

Equine Data Fields
Equine specific data fields enable you to keep detailed records. Barn, Stall, Coggins Date, Trainer, Registered Names, Alias Names, and Pedigree information are all accessible in the Patient File.

Equine Medical Notes
VIA includes medical templates for visits such as Pre-Purchase, Endoscopic, and Physical Exams. The customizable SOAP Medical Note editor enables you to configure an unlimited number of templates and memorize them for future use. Medical notes can be electronically sent or printed for the owner and trainer including X-rays, digital pictures, and ultrasound images.

Search by Horse, Trainer, Owner, Microchip
VIA's exclusive QuickSearch has been extended to search by additional equine fields. Type into one search field any of the following to see database matches: Horse Name, Owner Last Name, First Name, Spouse Name, Trainer Name, Client Phone, Trainer Phone, Tag #, Registration #, Microchip #, or Tattoo #.
