Software Implementation Specialist
VIA Information Systems, a division of VCA Inc., is seeking a Software Implementation Specialist / Account Manager to provide training and installation of VIA Practice Management Software to veterinary hospitals. We are looking for a performance-oriented person that is technically savvy and able to travel to client sites for week-long training sessions with veterinary hospital staff. This position is available for remote employment.
The Software Implementation Specialist will act as the primary point-of-contact for new client accounts and will lead the software implementation process. Responsibilities include training, coordinating installation dates, and managing all installation activities. The Implementation Specialist will travel onsite to train hospital staff, configure the software during the training and installation process, assist the practice on the go-live day, and continue the client relationship beyond implementation to ensure future rollout activities and training are successful.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Masters an extensive knowledge of the veterinary hospital workflow, operations, and processes
- Manages implementation timelines to efficiently move the client through the implementation process
- Develops customized training materials
- Creates documentation to enhance the client experience
- Assists with support of client accounts
- Up to 80% travel is required
- Evening and weekend work is required as necessary

- Experience working in a veterinary hospital environment

- Able to work the hours required to meet software go-live deadlines

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience working as Veterinary Practice Manager, Technician or Receptionist
- Software training or teaching related experience
