VIA 8.0 beta release

After many months of work we have completed development on our next major upgrade, VIA 8.0. The release is currently in testing and once beta testing is completed you will be notified.

VIA 8.0 will remain compatible with Windows XP, and is recommended for Windows 7, and Windows 8. The upgrade includes several new features, bug fixes, and enhancements.

New Instant Messenger

We’ve listened to your requests and are excited to release the new VIA Messenger available in VIA 8.0. VIA Messenger provides instant communication among staff for easy one-on-one or group based IM conversations.

New messages briefly appear onscreen to immediately notify you, and if you wish to wait to reply the message will remain flagged as pending. No more paging overhead or checking rooms to find a staff member, VIA will find the recipient and deliver the message for you instantly!


Expanded Support Hours

At VIA we are always striving to improve our client experience. As our customer base and product capabilities continue to grow, so does the need for timely, knowledgeable technical support. VIA Information Systems is pleased to announce that starting Tuesday, September 2, we are extending our technical support coverage by two hours each weekday to 8:00pm Central Standard Time (CST).

Our support staff will now be available to assist your practice Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm CST.  After hours support is also available for emergency assistance.
